Hulu - Huluween 2010

Looking for some great slasher, scarrific, halloween flicks - then you should check out

Hulu - Huluween 2010

From someone who has just started using Hulu, due to Comcast's requiring use of their own digital box even if you bought a digital tv so you didn't have to have a box - oh well, that's a totally different story of it's own - so anyway, I have been checking out Hulu. My shows I normally watched on TV at specified times and days I have found that I can watch on Hulu when I choose the day and time to watch them. Not only that, but I can hook this laptop of mine up to my new big screen digital tv that should not have to have a box to show digital, and volai' - I am watching my shows on my big screen tv with the surround sound system on and don't need Comcast is what I don't need -

Just for everyone's info, this Huluween collection of flicks by Hulu has some great Halloween movies to watch. So turn down the lights, grab a beer or soda and big bowl of popcorn and sit down and get prepared to get scared!!!!

Ghoulish Sweets: 8 Halloween Party Cakes from Martha Stewart

Graveyard Cakes, Boston Scream Pies, Headstone Brownies, Monster Cupcakes and so many more fantastically ghoulish halloween party treat recipes and photos can be found here -
Ghoulish Sweets: 8 Halloween Party Cakes from Martha Stewart . Martha Stewart has out done herself with some amazing halloween decorated party foods.

What really excites me about this web page of recipes and photos is the fact that while they look like they might be difficult to make, after reading the recipes and trying out a couple of them, I find they are really easy to prepare and delicious to eat. And lets not forget the fact that the little ghosts, goblins and monsters around the house, classroom or party will love them.

It's worth checking this page out if only to see the photos of the Ghoulish Sweets: 8 Halloween Party Cakes from Martha Stewart .

Enjoy!!!!!!

I was searching for some good Halloween decorations and things to use for treats for my Grandchildren this Halloween when I stumbled across this Halloween Charm Barbie Doll at Amazon.  They have several different Halloween Barbie Dolls and I think I know one of the treats I'm buying for this year.

Amazon also has alot of Halloween decorations on clearance sale.  If you are planning a Halloween party, a haunted house, a haunted hayride, or just want to decorate the house and yard for the little monsters and witches that will visit the end of this month, then definitely check out this clearance sale.

Search Amazon.com for halloween decorations clearance

There is nothing quite like walking up to a house that has spooky scarey music playing, and a witch or vampire on the porch.  Add a skull and hand raising up out of the ground by the walkway and some children would think they were at a haunted house.  Offer them their treat from a witch's cauldron with hot ice in the bottom steaming up around the treats and watch their little faces - pure amazement and astonishment - some may be scared while others will love it and never forget it.  And after all, isn't making memories to last a lifetime a big part of what Halloween is really all about.  A family holiday affair to have fun while the dead are traveling thru on All Hallow's Eve!!!!

Halloween for children with autism Autism Support Network

Halloween is a time for fun and make believe. Children with autism have problems with the concept of pretending - hence, putting on a Halloween costume to pretend to be something or someone else is a scarey and unsettling concept to them. Trick or treating is a hard chore as it involves going up to a stranger's house and knocking on the door, talking to someone they don't know, accepting candy from a stranger and various other things which can send an autistic child into a frenzy.

The Autism Support Network has an excellent article on tips for making Halloween fun and manageable for autistic children. It is definitely worth reading if you are planning on sharing Halloween with a child who has autism or is suspected of being autistic. Check it out today and plan for a fun and enjoyable holiday with all children!!!!!
