Halloween is Here Ghost Stories

Movies for Halloween 2012

Every year the movie production companies never fail to thrill the avid Halloween fan with movies of suspense, horror, monsters and ghosts. 2012 does not look to be any different. Movie goers can look forward to a ghoulish, frightening trip to the movies this upcoming Halloween. Whether child, teen, young adult or an elder, there will be a Halloween movie released which will draw you to it!!!


 For the young at heart and the young in age, several animated films are scheduled to be released in time for Halloween movie goers to see. Transylvania 3D, Frankenweenie, and ParaNorman each provide delightful entertainment and are highly recommended for family viewing this season.

 Transylvania 3D is about Count Dracula and his teenage daughter Mavis. Dracula has opened a five star resort for all the monsters and their families and friends to be able to vacation without the inquiring eyes of humans staring at them.

Frankenweenie is about a boy and his dog!  Guess which one is frankensteined!!!

ParaNorman, an animated story about the paranormal, animated zombies and Norman, is for older children.

For the adult movie-goers this Halloween 2012
  Children are not the only ones who can look forward to Halloween movie releases for 2012.  Adults and older teens can look forward to the release of chilling thrillers in 3D.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, The Twilight Zones, Silent Hill-Revelations 3D, Resident Evil Damnation, Paranormal Activity 4 are all movies scheduled to be released in theaters the month of October in time for the Halloween season.  


For Home Movie Viewing
There are many Halloween classic movies available for viewing on home theater systems - DVDs, Blue-Rays, Netflix, and various types of media are available for the convenient and easy viewing of the old old classics, or the new old classics, and even the new new classics!!!  

Frankenstein, The Werewolf, Dracula, The Invisible Man, The Bride of Frankenstein, and Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde and of course The Zombies are examples of old old classics that are readily available.  
  
  
Charlie Brown & The Great Pumpkin and The Wizard of Oz are in a class of their own!!!  No child should grow up without viewing both at least a half dozen times if not more!!

Halloween the Movie Series, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Last House on the Left, and many others offer their viewers the chills, the thrills, the scares and skin-crawling,  nerve-tingling anticipation that many associate with Halloween!
